RSVP for our 2026 Summer Intensive Audition!
Circumstances is a choreography and performance intensive happening this summer! Join us for the month of July as we create new works and dive into the choreographic process. With a focus on improvisation, contemporary technique, and choreography, participants will take class alongside SDC company members while also learning and developing new dance works under the direction of Anna Foshee and Sara Wallace.
The intensive will culminate in a weekend of performances, August 1–2, 2026.
We are opening up auditions to participate on Sunday, April 12th from 1:00–3:00 at The Dance Foundation. RSVP by April 10th. This intensive is free for dancers thanks to Alabama State Council on the Arts. All classes and rehearsals will take place at The Dance Foundation. To participate all dancers must be available for the dates below:
