Sanspointe dance company - summer SERIES 2022
August 11-14th, 2022
Sanspointe Dance Company Summer Series is a four day dance intensive for intermediate and advanced dancers ages 16+. Dancers will explore multiple disciplines of modern-contemporary dance as well as choreography, composition, improvisation, West African, Pilates and company repertory. Classes will be held at The Dance Foundation.
TUITION
Tuition for all dancers is $315

FACULTY:
- Margi Cole | founder and Artistic Director of The Dance COLEctive, BA in dance from Columbia College Chicago and an MFA in dance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
- Aidan Nettles | BA in Dance from the University of Alabama and MFA with Distinction from the University of Roehampton in London, UK. Teaching professor at the University of Alabama
- Elizabeth Wright | BFA from The Julliard School, principal dancer for the Isadora Duncan Dance Company, former senior member of Jennifer Muller/The Works

11:00-12:30 | Improvisation/Movement Exploration/Choreography
12:30-1:30 | LUNCH (BYOL)
1:30-2:45 | Movement Elective
3:00-5:00 | Faculty Choreography

CLOSING PERFORMANCE
The SDC summer intensive offers all dancers the opportunity to rehearse and perform a piece of repertory under the guidance of the intensive faculty. The performance is held on Sunday, August 14th at 6:00 pm at The Dance Foundation. Parents, friends and artists are invited to attend!
